Users find bugs in Facebook app for iPad →

The BBC:

Just hours after Facebook’s release of its long-awaited iPad app, users have started reporting minor bugs.

Some said it should have been tested better to ensure it worked properly with peripherals developed for the iPad, such as the iPad dock.

Facebook has really done quite a feat with it’s latest app; it’s based on a sophisticated HTML5 platform, allows for interaction with native iOS apps, and even allows for a platform for new applications that would work on Android/iOS/PC devices. TechCrunch has a good overview here.

For the most part, it’s in very good shape for such a major revamp. Yes, there are some interesting display issues, but nothing that would completely break the experience for users. But the tone of entitlement from users who had nothing the day before on their iPads is a bit nauseating.
